Captain & Sergeant Swear In

Capt. Nelson, Ret. Capt. Roohr, Chief Salvatore & Sgt Wren

It's not very often that the Cromwell Police Department welcomes in a new Captain. Actually, it's been 13 years since the last Captain was sworn into office. Captain Thomas A. Roohr retired Friday after 25 years of service to the department. Today, Monday, July 11th, 2005, the Cromwell Police Department not only welcomed in a new Captain but a new Sergeant as well.

Today's swearing-in ceremony was one of the, if not the, largest group of family, friends, co-workers, and fellow colleagues that this department has ever had at any swearing-in ceremony in history.
